This year the two symposia were held as a two-day joint meeting and led to fruitful discussions and scientific exchange between the SPM and the Optical Tweezers communities. More than 100 leading scientists exchanged knowledge and discussed their recent results in the fields of life sciences. We'd like to thank all participants for a great symposium!
